Hello yet another reason why prison-industrial complex is horrendous. Already knew this, oddly enough, from watching Lockup. They did a segment on transwomen in male prisons, and how they constant pressure for sex and usually have to be protected. I remember this episode of Law and Order SVU where a trans woman was jailed in a men’s prison and ended up dead after being raped and beaten :/ I remembered that episode she kept saying if she goes to a male prison she will be raped.

Hello yet another reason why prison-industrial complex is horrendous.

Already knew this, oddly enough, from watching Lockup. They did a segment on transwomen in male prisons, and how they constant pressure for sex and usually have to be protected.

I remember this episode of Law and Order SVU where a trans woman was jailed in a men’s prison and ended up dead after being raped and beaten :/

I remembered that episode she kept saying if she goes to a male prison she will be raped.
