In grad school I had an international student explain to me that I was less likely to be mugged by a black man because I am black. He really believed this. Whoever posted this really believes this. Lots of people really believe this. These assholes really think this shit doesnt happen to us. Thats what makes it so easy to ignore when it does happen to us.
